Frequently Asked Questions

Purpose and Mission
My goal is to equip students to develop a knowledge and love of music, so that they can share that same joy with others. I believe that music plays an important role in our worship to God, and it is my desire to cultivate a life-long love of godly music in my students.
I offer individualized one-on-one video lessons, providing the convenience and flexibility of learning from the comfort of your home. I take great pleasure in teaching students of all ages, tailoring each lesson to foster a positive, engaging, and effective music-learning experience.

Practice Time
Students are expected to practice a minimum of five days per week and complete all assigned materials. Daily practice time should be at least equivalent to the length of the weekly lesson in order to ensure steady progress and reinforce concepts covered during instruction.

Cancellations
Students are expected to attend lessons consistently and arrive on time, out of respect for both the instructor’s schedule and fellow students. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged as a regular lesson, in accordance with studio policy.

With sufficient notice, lessons may be rescheduled at the discretion of both the student and teacher. I am committed to honoring your time and kindly ask for the same courtesy in return.

Discontinuation of Lessons
Should a student or parent decide to discontinue lessons, a 30-day advance notice is required. This transition period allows for the completion of current material and provides an opportunity to review and celebrate the student’s progress.
